Be My Sun – Light That Cares
Be My Sun is an IoT platform for home assistance of Alzheimer's patients - embedded software, smart light device and mobile app designed for caregivers and family.
Be My Sun connects a smart lamp to a mobile app and a cloud-based backend, creating a simple but powerful home assistance system for Alzheimer's patients. Through the lamp, caregivers can emit lights, sounds, record and transmit audio messages, and schedule physical exercises.
We worked on the full stack - from the embedded software running inside the lamp to the cloud infrastructure and the mobile app. The entire system was built to work seamlessly, with the device and the app communicating in real time.
On the app side, we focused on UX and UI with one priority: simplicity. The people using it are family members and caregivers, not tech enthusiasts. Every interaction was designed to feel intuitive and accessible, removing any friction between the user and the care they want to provide.
